Apologies for the delay on this. People should be able to get onto Duality now.

As in previous years Tourney Captains should use the slash command "/setpassword" in chat to set the password for their dedicated practice system. When you set the password you will get confirmation of your system and that the password is set in a popup.

Tournament team pilots can then use the "Enter Starbase Forcefield Password" option in the right click menu on their ship to enter the password to allow them to get access to a password protected system.

Please Note : We are going to be pushing some market updates this afternoon, so please bear with us on that.


***THIS NEXT PART IS IMPORTANT & DIFFERENT FROM PREVIOUS YEARS SO PLEASE READ CAREFULLY***

Please assume that we WON'T be keeping Duality at parity with TQ.

What this means is you need to make a copy of your current TQ client install and keep it separate from your normal TQ client install which you will be updating.

Once you have made that copy this is how you make it "Duality ready"...

Create a shortcut to your "Duality client" exefile.exe, which resides in the GÇ£binGÇ¥ folder of your copy Eve install. After making the shortcut, right click on it and go to GÇ£PropertiesGÇ¥. From there, add GÇ£ /server:DualityGÇ¥, without the quotes, to the GÇ£TargetGÇ¥. If you open it up and the launcher appears, you did the shortcut to GÇ£eve.exeGÇ¥ and youGÇÖre bad at following directions. ;)

Any chance our alliance (Tactical Narcotics Team) could be not-closed? We still exist on TQ, but on SiSi and dulity we are listed as closed.

I tried that and got the error "Data package unavailable"

Just to clarify, the target line for the repair.exe looks like this -
"C:\Program Files (x86)\CCPDuality\EVE\repair.exe" --buildno=805617

I seem to be stuck and cannot login on the Duality, although my account is active.

When I pick this character on the char screen on Duality - I get the selection window for a nearby system, and when I pick one - I get the message 'system too busy' and then on second try 'you have been cleared for jump-in within 181 seconds' ... after that, I'm stuck in an indefinite loading screen with the rotating icon over the char panel. No tinkering with the client seems to help me ...

Could you please move this char into any other system ?

I know Devs are always busy, but is there no chance that Mac users can see a simple link and patch file updated on the website, so we can do something on Duality^^. Please....
